Description
GETTING HARDER TO GET THIS PSYCH/POP/ROCK LP BY ' THE FOURMYULA ' FROM 1968, WHO HAILED FROM NEW ZEALAND. MADE IT IN UK FOR AWHILE AS WELL. ON SIDE 2 AT THE BEGINNING YOU HERE THIS HISSING CRACKLE NOISE AND THINK THE RECORD IS STUFFED, UNTIL YOU REALIZE IT IS DELIBERATE, MADE TO SOUND LIKE AN OLD 78 SPEED RECORD FOR A MINUTE OR SO.
This is a NEW ZEALAND pressing on the H.M.V label, cat no: CSDM 6283
VINYL : VERY GOOD, has a lot of light hairlines and the odd light scuff type marks both sides and this other mark I have taken a photo of above, it looks worse then it is, it is NOT deep (and does not cause any distraction from the music ) but only a very light surface mark type scratch, but plays great with some light crackle at the start of tracks and in between and in the quieter moments. Still sounds loud and clear.
COVER : VERY GOOD + to EXCELLENT, laminated front cover has several light creases here and there, particularly around the edges and opening. A little bit of paper wear on the front bottom edge about 10 cm in from opening. The back has foxing all over, basically it has faded. Also some light creases and a ring mark. Spine is excellent and fully readable.
LABELS : EXCELLENT, light spindle marks both sides.
