 This is the original UK LP by FOTHERINGAY,  Self-Titled UK LP, 1970 Stereo, 2nd Press on the ISLAND Pink Rim Palm Tree label ILPS 9125

Matrix numbers are,  Side 1:- ILPS 9125 A-3U  Side 2:- ILPS 9125 B-3U

Stamper codes are,  Side 1:-  1 / P,  Side 2:-  1 / M

Very 1st 2nd Press, indicated by the super low '1' mother stampers and stamper codes

This Pressing was cut and mastered using the original master tapes used for the 1st Pressing. This is clearly evident listening to the super high quality of the Stereo

I cannot emphasise enough the super high quality of this beautiful pressing!. Playing the vinyl, I was utterly mesmerised by the sheer clearness and bright Stereo sound!!!.  If you want a very nice example of this album, then this is for you. I'm confident to say you will not find a better sounding original UK ISLAND Pressing!

The original 1970 UK E.J DAY cover is in EX condition, would be graded alot higher but for some mild wear to the edges and corners. The cover maintains all it's original colour inside and out. The solid wide spine is fully intact, clean and perfectly readable. Their is no unwanted writing, no seam splits. and no sticker marks

The vinyl is in EX condition,  gleaming with all it's original 'Just Pressed glossy shine and lustre!. Their is a light NON- audioable mark on Side 1, otherwise the vinyl would be firmly graded much higher. As said above,  I have played both sides (very very carefully!) and the vinyl plays MINT- !.  The vinyl plays with stunning crisp clear clarity *, amazing Stereo sound!!!! *. The quality of this 1970 UK Stereo 2st Pressing is TOP TOP QUALITY!, playing with stunning rich tones, warmth and depth!! . Listening to the album it was if almost the band were playing in my living room!!!, such is the quality of this super high quality pressing!!!!, WOW!!!!, I JUST SAT THERE WITH A WARM GLOW AND A BIG SMILE ON MY FACE!!!!. Considering the soft and quiet production of this album this is such a RARITY!

The label's are in MINT- condition, lovely and clean,  maintaining all their original bright fresh colour, their is no unwanted writing, the centre spindle hole shows little or no wear

The vinyl is housed in its original 1970 UK ISLAND turquoise polythene lined inner sleeve and is in EX+ condition, clean, no seam splits, no unwanted writing
