Year: JANUARY 11 & 12, 1978 Vinyl Condition: MINT - unplayed - virgin. I know the implications of saying MINT, but this record is missing its celophane. It has never, ever, ever touched a needle! Label Condition: MINT - no spindle marks. Cover Condition: NEAR MINT/MINT - minor edgewear and ringwear on back noted. The cover is a gatefold. Record Sleeve: EXCELLENT - special static resistant sleeve, sealed. Notes: Again, I must mention that this record has never been played. Unfortunately, the owner of this collection removed the celo from the records. You know, the old warpage fear/theory. He did not play these records, so only would the celo make this record absolutely mint. Good luck in finding one of those. The starting bid reflects the loss of the celo. Too bad for me, good for you. These records were obtained from a fellow who was a record company excecutive 30 years ago. Ninty percent of the vinyl in this collection is mint to near mint. Many have had the celophane removed, but have never touched a needle - virgin vinyl. I realize the magnitude of what mint means, but many of the records to be listed are better than near mint, so please forgive the terminology in that regard. Included in this collection are many audiophile records, picture discs, promotional records, and other pieces that are mostly first pressings and were only available to those inside the business. If you are seeking anything in particular, let me know and we will endeavour to find it and list it sooner than later. Please email if you have any questions well in advance of bidding. Due to the rarity of these albums I would strongly suggest to not wait until the last minute to bid. Don't risk getting shut out! S/H is the actual postal rate, quoted from the post office plus $1 handling. Records will be shipped boarded between cardboard. Multiple record wins will be shipped boxed.
