FOLKWAYS P417/418 NEGRO FOLK MUSIC FROM ALABAMA (2LP)
A fabulous rare set of field recordings made in 1950 by HAROLD COURLANDER. These are deep groove pressings with white label/blue printing with the usual heavy duty covers. There is a 12 page booklet with notes/lyrics etc. which covers both volumes.

CONDITION/DESCRIPTION: the discs are EtoE-(VG+toE-) with some small scratches, visible under a bright 'grading' light. These were probably issued first without inner sleeves. A previous owner has added these so they have been better treated than most copies of this set. The covers are E+ (VG++), with minor rubbing to the spine and a very small amount of surface dirt.
