Brief description of item
This listing includes a very rare 1st press of 'FOCUS' & is an original (can not get earlier) pressing on the POLYDOR label from 1974. A first press that has barely been played...ONE play in all of it's life so far. That's astonishing for such a long time. We are now in 2013 & to find one of these ads pristine and practically unused brand new second hand...Is near impossible. I have included a special 12 page booklet on the group, also includes some info on the group. This is a booklet made in the 1970's and also a special item.. These do not exist today, and it just makes sense to include in my offer as a bonus. The booklet was made by M.A.M. And is A 'THEATREGRAPHICSPRODUCTION'
THE CONDITION OF BOTH LABELS ARE SPOTLESS, NOT EVEN ONE SINGLE MARK ON EITHER. GRADED AS MINT. NO NAMES OR FADED PRINT. AS I SAY PLAYED ONE TIME. THIS SHOWS ON THE LABELS CONDITION. COLOUR IS ORANGE/RED & MADE IN ENGLAND. RUN OFF MATRIX ARE A MATCHING A//1 & B//1 FOLLOWED BY 420 1 1 1. FIRST AND EARLIEST SET YOU COULD EVER GET.
THE COVER IS A GATED CARD/TEXTURED MATT FINISH. IS NEAR IMPECCABLE. WITH NO STAINING, DAMP, SMOKE DAMAGE OR RIPPING OR TEARING. NO HANDWRITTEN NAMES, NO SPLITTING TO THE SPINE AT THE SIDE, VERY BOLD SPINE 100% PERFECTLY LEGIBLE. THE COVER IS GRADED AT A CONSERVATIVE & ON MY PART AND VERY CRITICAL GRADE OF EXCELLENT+ NO WRITING ON THE INSIDE AND NO GRIME. DUST OR AGE TO THIS FAB COVER!!!
THE ACTUAL RECORD ITSELF IS BEST DESCRIBED AS 'SECOND HAND BRAND NEW'!!!! YOU WILL NOT GET A BETTER COPY OF THIS WORK IN A BETTER CONDITION. IT BEGGARS BELIEF REALLY...BUT I NEVER OVERPLAY RECORDS AND ALWAYS STORE THEM SAFELY WHEN PURCHASED AT THE TIME.
THE PLAY/AUDIO WILL BE LIKE LISTENING TO A RECORD FROM 1974 FOR THE FIRST TIME. NO WARPING 100% FLAT ON ANY SURFACE. I TAKE TIME & TRY TO TEST PLAY ALL MY RECORDS BEFORE LISTING, NOT ALL THE WAY THROUGH ALL THE TIME, BUT ENOUGH TO MAKE SURE & DOUBLE CHECK THAT YOUR GETTING WHAT I LIST HERE.
THIS HAS COME ALONG WITH A VAST COLLECTION SPANNING IN THE THOUSANDS... MANY HAVE SOLD FROM THIS COLLECTION. IN MY ON-GOING PURGE. SAD TO SEE THEM GO! BUT HAPPY TO MOVE THEM ON TO A NEW CARING HOME.
INCLUDES THE ORIGINAL DUST INNER 'PLASTIC BAGS CAN BE DANGEROUS' AND ALSO A SPARE BRAND NEW INNER HAS BEEN INCLUDED TO AVOID SPLIT. WHAT MORE TO SAY THAN...YOU WOULD BE OUT OF YOUR HEAD TO MISS THIS ONE....PLEASE SEE THE CLOSE UP VIEW OF ALL ON OFFER. AND SNAP IT UP WHILE YOU STILL CAN. I use custom made box mailers...No need to let me know how to pack properly. This will arrive as you see it here.
Thanks for viewing & save me as a favourite seller, as more will be getting listed all the time/time permitting.
CHECK THE LARGE VIEW BELOW THE END OF THIS LISTING...Cheers.

>> Grading of Items All items are graded conservatively according to Record Collectors Grading System Record Collectors Grading system
Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condiition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displayes no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable
Good (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has notceably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc
Fair (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler
CD's and CASSETTES As a general rule CD's and Cassettes either play perfectly - inwhich case they are in Mint condition - or they don't, in which case their value is minimal. Cassette tape is liable to deteriorate with age, even if it remains unplayed, so care should be taken when buying old tapes. CD's are difficult to grade visually; they can look perfect but actually be faulty, while in other cases they may appear damaged but still play perfectly. Cassette and CD inlays and booklets should be graded in the same way as record covers and sleeves. In general, the plastic containers for cassettes and CDs can easily be replaces if they are broken or scratched, but card covers and digipaks are subject to the same wear as record sleeves
