Description

This is an ORIGINAL 1969 A&M RECORDS U.S. LP titled 'The Gilded Palace Of Sin', an early pioneering country rock album from Gram Parson and former Byrds bassist Chris Hillman and their band The Flying Burrito Brothers .  It is A&M Records U.S. catalog number SP 4175, first issue.  Record comes packaged inside its cover in an A&M Records stock inner sleeve with pictures of other then-current A&M Records LPs.
Please see my accompanying back cover image for the track listing and other information.
Condition of record is a real nice VG++ with just a very few small light visible surface marks which cannot be felt and will not affect play.  Condition of cover is VG with a flaw I've never seen before - It has a horizontal slit in the middle of its back cover that extends across and through the entire back cover, except it's closed at both ends at the sides of the cover.  It almost appears as if the slit happened during the manufacturing process, as it's perfectly clean and perfectly horizontally straight and the record inside shows no signs of a blade running across it.  As the slit is closed at both ends it really doesn't impact the safe storage of the record inside the cover and it is mainly a cosmetic issue.  I have repaired the slit as best I could by taping from the inside.  There is adhesive residue and a little wear along the slit on the outside of the cover, as apparently it had previously been repaired with some sort of tape by a previous owner that has since either fallen off or been removed.  Cover also has a little ring and contact wear, and some wear along the edges and on the corners.

This LP would be a choice addition to any Gram Parsons or country rock LP collection!  $5.50 SHIPPING via USPS Media Mail.  Shipping to areas outside the U.S. via eBay international shipping.   BUYER PLEASE DO NOT SEND CASH - IT PROBABLY WILL NOT GET HERE! I will give an immediate refund (less shipping) upon return of the LP in the above stated condition if buyer is dissatisfied for any reason.
