FLINTSTONES UNRELEASED TITLE 'MAINLINE' 1964 EMI-DISC ACETATE 45
It is impossible to know how rare acetates for this era are, but it’s fair to say that acetates of unreleased tracks like this are one-offs. The track is clearly the Flintsones inimitable, Shads-like, instrumental style though much more laid back than their one-off hit, Safari. It is a genuinely catchy tune. The artifact itself is in pretty scruffy condition and there is a good deal of background ‘ssh’. However, it plays fine, all the way through without jumps or clicks.
This is a seriously rare item and make no mistake, it’s the only one anyone is ever likely to see.
