Please note: This is a fairly new account. I have been commissioned to sell a large collection of records that once belonged radio DJ Bob Senn in Santa Barbara, CA (more about him below) and the collection belongs to DodgerBob. Sleeve: VG to VG+

TOUGH one to grade...Beautiful crisp sleeve has no splits or creases...nice corners (small bump lower left), fully legible spine. Being a promo, this has a station reference sticker on top right hand corner, and on the rear toward the bottom is paper residue from where it appears a timing strip might once have been glued but has fallen off. This appears to be removable, but I won’t be attempting to do so. “From The Collection of Bob Senn” has been lightly stamped on upper right of rear. Structurally it’s a solid EX sleeve, but the residue, stamp and station sticker bring it down a half grade I’m afraid. I could remove the residue and station sticker with some care, but I’ve chosen to leave that up to the buyer. They are “repairable” flaws.

Disc: Visually: Side 1: VG Side 2: VG+ (Side 1 is a VERY strong VG closer to VG+) Audio: 95% of the album plays NM to NM-...there is one small mark that causes a light tic every rotation for a couple minutes at the end of side one. More below.

This is a tough one to grade. It has all of it’s BEAUTIFUL original glossy sheen...I am being VERY strict to the grading system here. This really is a gorgeous disc and stellar player apart from a few very light “scuffs” and hairlines (not audible)...however, one 1” mark is feelable and causes a soft tic every rotation for a couple of minutes toward the end of side one. The disc appears to have been played very little and has zero groove wear...I’ve played tested it on my Technics SL-D303 with a NAGAOKA MP-110 cartridge w/elliptical stylus and the audio is phenomenal. The only soft tics I’ve described. 95% of the album plays NM- with dynamic crisp sound and incredibly quiet virgin vinyl that white label promos are known for...a few factory streaks* as to be expected which appear/disappear when tilted under bright light only.

BEAUTIFUL white promotional labels have no writing or marks...no evidence of play.

Original company inner sleeve is included, unsplit with no tears or major creases.

This copy is from the collection of Bob Senn - a renowned Santa Barbara, California DJ and program director for KTMS FM “The Rock on the Coast”. When Mr. Senn passed, his collection was acquired by my friend who has commissioned me to help sell them. There are thousands of records in the collection, almost all promotional copies in mint or close to mint condition.

THIS DISC HAS BEEN CLEANED USING A SPIN CLEAN WHICH I’VE FOUND TO BE PERFECT FOR GETTING OUT THE LIGHT DUST WHICH MAY HAVE SETTLED INTO THE GROOVES OVER THE YEARS. HOWEVER, IF CRACKLE REMAINS, A DEEPER CLEAN AND/OR ANTI-STATIC GUN IS RECOMMENDED.

The disc will be put into a generic inner sleeve, placed behind the jacket in a plastic outer sleeve and sandwiched snugly between two thick cardboard stiffeners. $4.50 via USPS Media Mail or $15 via USPS Priority Mail Package within the USA. (If Priority Shipping total comes to $10 or less, a $3 refund will be given- the extra cost is to cover shipping materials- mailers, stiffeners, extra inner and outer sleeves)

Grading System:

SS (Still Sealed)

Unopened records, still in original shrink wrap. In original manufactured condition unless otherwise noted (i.e. evidence of mildew or bent corners, etc.)

M (Mint)

The record and sleeve are in perfect, original condition. The record may have been played but will have no evidence of deterioration. (I will only use this grade on SEALED records that appear to be Mint as I believe any non-new, opened record cannot be truly called MINT.

NM (Near Mint)

A nearly perfect record. Any visible defects are of the type that "disappear" when the record is tilted under a strong light and they should not affect play. Sleeves in near mint condition will have no obvious signs of wear. Practically imperceptible ring wear may be allowed but no creases, seam-splits, or other easily detected flaws will be present.

EX (Excellent)

A very clean record. Near mint except for slight, superficial signs of wear. Sleeves in this condition may have marginal defects, but will not have significant creases or splits.

VG+ (Very Good Plus)

A well-cared-for record that is noticeably less than perfect, but defects are not visually or audibly distracting. Record surfaces may have slight scuffs or light scratches, but are still primarily clean. Sleeves may have some creases or minor ring wear, but should not be split.

VG (Very Good)

A used, reasonable copy to play. Many of the defects found in a VG+ copy will be more pronounced in VG condition. Surface noise may be evident and sleeves may look worn, but the record is still a decent copy.

G (Good)

A well-worn record that is still playable. Good does not necessarily mean "bad" but a record in this condition will have audible distractions and may have visible groove wear. Sleeves may have all manner of defects, but are still intact.

FA (Fair) and P (Poor)

These grades are for beat-up records. I will only sell records in these grades if they are extremely rare and sought-after.
