Flashgun Connection -- 1982 Disco Circus Program

(Disco Circus Records DCR1011). Rare Dutch DJ-only private pressing featuring exclusive mix of four electronic funk / Hi NRG hits. A-side: Neftali's Beast - Land Of The Tigerdrums (7:14) and Mandrillo And Muppets Band - Pick Pack Show (6:41), B-side: Ladies Choice - The Last Train Again and Z.A.C.K. - Where Are You Now. All original titles edited by Flashgun Connection.
Stand out cut is extended Land Of The Tigerdrums (AKA Land Of The Drums) by former ex-Mandrill member Neftali Santiago. Neftali's Beast features Neftali-drums, keyboards, percussion, bass, animal machine -- Land of the Drums was a unique blend of natural animal sounds put to a funky rhythm, and a driving dance percussive beat. Neftali was the first to sample real sounds before samplers were invented using tape loops on a Melotron. Vinyl and sleeve are both in excellent condition.
