Description

This 45rpm record is  by the mid-fifties doo wop group the Five Chances. They sing "Sugar Lips" backed by the beautiful ballad "Gloria". It was released in 1955 on States records S-156. The record grades at vg+ but has heat damage on the early part of the record. The jump side does play a little noisy in the beginning but plays well after that. Unfortunately the ballad side plays the same way in the beginning and gets stuck and I don't believe it can be fixed. After that one area it plays fine but nevertheless there is that one problem. Label has moderate wear with a name written on one side. I would not normally list an item in this condition but this one is quite rare and lists for almost $1,000 in the kreiter group guide.  Money back guarantee if not completely satisfied.
