Well folks, I have recently come across a stash of old acetates, ranging from The Beatles (!) to Marvin Gaye, Sheena Easton, etc, etc!
Each of them play with fantastically rich, superior audio,some have light background noise. I would recommend playing them once and then recording them as they are fragile.

So, this one up for auction:

This single was released to promote another EMI Beatles compilation album, "Reel Music".
The selection of tracks on this double album are taken from their feature films.

Metal ACETATE with vinyl lacquer covering.
Identifying markings:
R 6055 A-1
Stamped into the run-out groove and etched into the outer rim.
The label incorrectly states "Beatles Magical Mystery Tour"
"T10922" stamped to the blank side.
1 sided 10 inch acetate.
I have played her and found a great audio reproduction-there is some background noise, but nothing terrible at all. Plays all the way through without any jumps or skips.

It is the twenty-sixth official EMI release-THIS RELEASE HAS NEVER BEEN UPDATED AND/OR RELEASED ONTO CD!!.....This single was deleted 31st May 1984 - just two years after it's issue.
The original b-side was meant to be an interview with the Beatles recorded on the set of "A Hard Days Night", but this was changed at the last minute due to a dispute with the producer Walter Shenson.
