This is the Very RARE Original 1st UK Issue on the Plain Orange CBS Label in `Shorewood Packaging` Flap Back Gatefold sleeve - matrix/run out groove S 69009 A1/S 69009 B1 - mother stampers A1/A1

Vinyl - VERY THICK Vinyl as you would expect on a first issue & first pressing (note them mother stampers!!), BEAUTIFUL Condition plays SUPERB even on the quiet sections - looks mint in normal light - its only on closer inspection under bright spotlight I can see some very light paper scuffs from Sleeve Removal THAT'S ALL!! - REAL TOP COPY

Labels - UNDAMAGED & CLEAN, a couple of  Spindle Lines visible under bright light only on side 2 which would suggest the owner never got as far as playing side 2 - Vinyl almost new!!

Sleeve -  Matt finish `Shorewood Packaging` Gatefold very prone to wear, Spine has some wear but still very readable, Amazingly the flap hasn't got the usual deep creases you see on this cover (being a single card flap), some edge wear, still a nice copy of a very rare record sleeve - NO pen writing/NO sticker damage/NO tears etc - Really Nice Copy 

Rarity - Absolutely! HOW RARE IS THIS?? this LP to my knowledge was only ever released in minuscule quantities before this group disappeared in the delete bins - which is amazing because musically it is `TOP DRAWER` sounding to me a cross between Deep Purple/Grand Funk Railroad, due to the distorted Organ and hefty hefty bass lines, some early ELP thrown in for good measure (Band features ex-members of King Crimson and Rare Bird) - this is a definite lost gem!! definitely not one to miss!!

Just a note on Grading - I always play grade my records right through and unless stated they do not jump, skip or stick when played!!! I always view the vinyl under a very bright halogen spotlight!!! Why? because although I have excellent vision when viewed under a normal light or even worse a fluorescent tube (most shops have these) the vinyl will not show up how marked it truly is - some view records in daylight but this has to be done in direct sunlight to see the hidden marks - I do this so that I can give the full picture and should please even the most `critical` of collectors. Also I photograph the WHOLE of the cover (I don't cut off the corners or edge) so you can see as close as possible what you will receive!!

Postage/packing: I use new professional record mailers with several cardboard stiffeners to protect the cover - the record will be placed in a NEW clean inner sleeve, removed from the record cover (saves ringwear/pushing through seams) and together with original old inner placed in a NEW pvc outer sleeve - I also include recorded delivery as standard in the overall cost in the UK (70p) it covers up to £30 in case of loss - it will be optional for international packages (as it is more expensive) but still advisable! - please note complete postage charges (below) before bidding!

Payment - I am quite patient but if I have waited a couple of weeks for money and sent reminders unless there is a good reason I will claim back my fees and give a nonpaying bidder strike - I don't charge for Paypal!

Grading's

Mint : The record itself is brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

EX : The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing

VG : The record has obviously been played, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite some surface marks. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.

plus + : slightly better than grade

minus - : slightly under grade
