Over the next several weeks/months we will be liquidating a 15000 piece collection of Hot Jazz in various mediums. This round will be 500 plus 10 inch with varying degrees of condition. Heavier packages may be shipped FedEx and will be determined at end of auction. All quotes in this listing will be for media rate shipping USPS. In addition to the total shipping costs, all auctions will include a one-time $1.42 handling fee.
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: we will combine shipping for multiple bids. Shipping will be done by First-Class International or Priority Rate International. All quotes in these auctions will be First Class International 4LBS & under. Multiple items and/or items weighing 4.1 LBS or more will be Priority Rate international or if applicable, Priority Flat Rate. In addition to the total shipping costs, all auctions will include a one-time $3.05 handling fee which includes a certificate of mailing, in addition to the actual shipping costs.

We will try to ship your item as quickly as possible after payment has been received. GRADING Taken from the VJM grading page. N (78) M (LP). As new and unplayed (there are virtually no 78s that can categorically be claimed to be unplayed). N- (78) M- (LP). Nearly Mint, but has been played. No visible signs of wear or damage. E+ (78) VG+ (LP). Plays like new, with very, very few signs of handling, such as tiny scuffs from being slipped in and out of jackets. E (89) VG (LP). Still very shiny, near new looking, with no visible signs of wear, but a few inaudible scuffs and scratches. E- (78) VG- (LP). Still shiny but without the lustre of a new record, few light scratches. LP: Some wear, scratches and scuffs, but no skipped or repeat grooves. V+ (78) G+ LP. V+ is an average condition 78 in which scuffs and genral use has dulled the finish somewhat. Wear is moderate but playing is generally free from distortion. Surface noise not overly pronounced. LP: Below average with scuffs and scratches on fewer than half the tracks. No skips or repeat grooves. V (78) G (LP). Moderate, even wear throughout, but still very playable. Surface noise and scratches audible but not intrusive. V- (78) G- (LP). Quite playable still, but distortion and heavy greying in loud passages. Music remains loud in most passages. Surface noise and scratches well below music level. LP: Lowest Grade. Audible scratches, etc. on more than half the tracks. Listening uncomfortable. G+ (78). Grey throughout but still serviceable. Music begins to sound muffled. Heavy scratches. G (78). Quite seriously worn and scratched, but music level is still higher than surface noise. G- (78). Music still prominent, but wear and scatch damage extensive. F (78). Most of music remains audible over surface noise, but listening now uncomfortable. P (78). Unplayable. NB: Damage to labels and jackets (LP) should be noted whenever present. If possible items should be returned in original packaging. By doing so, we can eliminate extra charges from the post office. We will not pay for return shipping. INSURANCE
USA INSURANCE: we prefer that you use the insurance option to protect your item(s). we will pack all pieces securely to insure safety, however, we are not able to deliver them to you personally. We cannot be responsible for any loss or damage incurred in the shipping of your item through any shipper.
INTERNATIONAL INSURANCE: under the new postal system Priority Rate International includes indemnity insurance on your package according to the weight. Additional insurance should be added to make sure your item is fully insured. Every country may not have an insurance option, please be sure to check with us AFTER you have won your item.
Whereever you live, the post office has drastically reduced the value amount of what they insure. We use a third party insurance company that allows us to insure your item and shipping expense. we prefer insurance on all items. When there is an issue, we have to be responsible. if your package is lost or damaged you receive a complete refund including your shipping expense after filing the necessary information and paperwork. if no insurance, we will not be able to refund you any amount for loss or damage, it protects both of us.
