  An original vinyl pressing of the 1981 promo-only interview LP Felton Jarvis Talks About Elvis (RCA FJ-1981) - a half-hour interview with Elvis' producer (1965-1967) recorded on December 16, 1980 - just three days before he suffered the stroke that felled him on January 3rd of the following year.
   This LP is housed in a generic white sleeve with simply ; Felton Jarvis Interview about Elvis Presley. written in red ink towards the top of its front cover.  The LP itself is accompanied by its six-page cue sheet AND a two page RCA News , newsletter , on RCA letterhead , announcing the new release of Guitar Man .elvis' posthumous lp .

generic ORIGINAL plain white cover    is  VG+       (  normal wear , has  Felton Jarvis Interview about Elvis Presley handwritten in red ink top front center , and a faded word or call letters front top right  )

2 page RCA news announcement newsletter  is VG+   (  nice  )

PLEASE NOTE THERE IS SOMETHING NOTED IN THE CUE-SHEETS ABOUT THERE BEING A "LOCKED GROOVE" AFTER THE INTRODUCTION .THIS MEANS THE NEEDLE WILL STAY LOCKED IN THE SAME GROOVE WITHOUT CONTINUING ON . THIS WAS DONE BECAUSE THIS WAS MEANT FOR RADIO DJ'S AND IT WOULD LOCK SO IT DIDN'T MOVE ON UNTIL THE DJ PICKED IT UP OUT OF THE "LOCK" AND PLACE IT DOWN ON THE NEXT SECTION . THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE LIKE THIS AND IS NOT A DEFECT . JUST WANTED YOU TO KNOW .
