Sadly departed Italo-disco producer Gianfranco Felli enjoyed a successful career rebirth before passing away in 2015, though it's his early '80s work - and specifically 1983 debut single "Diamond In The Night" - that remains most celebrated. Here his most famous creation gets the reissue treatment, with the original Vocal and Instrumental versions - throbbing, bubbly chunks of purist Italo-disco pleasure complete with sequenced synthesizer basslines and cheeky pop flourishes - being supplemented by two new revisions. Flemming Dalum steps up first with an extended take that adds extra dancefloor weight to Felli's original version, while the Longdrink remix delivers cheerier, synth-pop-fired nu-disco thrills.
