This is a RARE Fela Kuti & Africa 70 LP record called "Expensive Shit". It is on the Editions Makossa label and was released in 1981. The Vinyl is EX+ and the sleeve is Very Good. Great artwork.
Expensive Shit is the twelfth full-length album by Afrobeat pioneer Fela Ransome Kuti and his Africa 70 band. It was ranked #78 on Pitchfork Media's "Top 100 Albums of the 1970s".[4] The title of the album refers to an incident in which the Nigerian police tried to arrest Kuti by planting a joint on him. Kuti managed to eat the joint, prompting police to bring him into custody and wait for him to produce the excrement. According to legend he managed to use another inmate's feces and was eventually released.
Vinyl is EX+. super nice copy, handled/played rarely and well cared-for. looks and plays great! Will be shipped in a proper padded record box. Thank You for checking it out.
