Description
This is an example of the original Polydor pressing of this album. There were re-issues on Recommended Records in 1979 and Lilith Records in 2007 (and I believe a Polydor re-issue on black vinyl), but this is the original clear vinyl version. There is the transparent sleeve, the transparent insert with lyrics and blurb by Uwe Nettelbeck, and the transparent vinyl disc (see pictures).
Unfortunately the record has been stored in the usual way, edge-on to the light, so there is a faint brownish oxidation strip down the left-hand side of the sleeve and also a small reddish-brown oxidation mark on the edge of the disc. However, this has not affected the playability. Also there is no physical damage to the disc. The disc sits flat on the turntable and plays perfectly all through both sides. There is a little surface noise which is due to dust but I have not attempted to clean the surface.
