Description

This is a very reasonably priced RARE ORIGINAL 1956 MONO LP titled 'Fats Domino Rock and Rollin' from a legendary rock-n-roll pioneer issued in the UK on the London American label. It is London catalog number HA-U 2028, microgroove flexible vinyl pressing having maroon/plum colour London American Series labels with silver printing. The disc has matrix/runout stamps ALL-482-1B on side 1 and ALL-483-1B on side 2. This iconic first issue of Fats Domino's first released UK album was distributed on the London American Series label in the UK. I bought it new in 1957. The album comprises Fats Domino's Imperial USA studio recordings and singles releases made from 1952 (Goodbye/Careless Love) through to 1956 (My Blue Heaven/I'm In Love Again) and as such was the first issue in the UK of some of the earliest recorded rock 'n' roll idiom music. The album is in exceptionally good condition and is a very good value collectors' item!
