Description

FAST EDDIE - "Do You Wanna Make Love / Hey Lou"
1971 MICHIGAN PRIVATE ISSUE 45 rpm
Visually Graded Condition of disc:  VG+

(Very rare Grand Rapids Michigan record - ONLY 200 COPIES WERE PRESSED.
Features members of the last incarnation of my band Phlegethon [who evolved from The SoulBenders] in a side project. I was personally involved with this record but completely forgot about until I ran into Phlegethon guitarist Dave Pryce a couple weeks ago. He brought this up and my memory was jogged. I asked him, "did I play on this single?" He replied "no, you were the producer, but didn't want credit." I barely remember any of this, but do remember this was recorded at Midwestern Sound studios [where Al Green's "Back Up Train" was recorded] and I was one of the engineers. My name appears on the label.

Top side is written and sung by Jack Bricker who was a Phlegethon member for the last few months before we broke up. He then moved to California and worked in Hollywood as a makeup artist. Flip side is written and sung by Dave Pryce, guitarist from Phlegethon. Dave was also an accomplished graphics artist. He did the artwork for the sleeve.)

Sleeve is intact on heavy stock paper. Light fraying at top edge and some bent corners, but no splits.

NO 'BEST OFFERS' ACCEPTED

Continuing with the liquidation of my record collection passing them on to people who can more appreciate them.
These are items from my collection of nearly 40,000 promo singles, LP's & CD's from the 60's thru the 90's that I was
fortunate to acquire from doing 37 years of on-air Rock Radio.

All of my records are guaranteed original pressings unless otherwise noted.

These records were sorted, stored, moved a few times, and then stored again for decades. Some carefully,
others were not. All of my gradings are visual, and more often than not, quite generous.
Just check my feedback. You can bid and buy with confidence.

MY GRADING SCALE

(very similar to the Goldmine standard)

NM (Near Mint): Record will show no serious scuffs or scratches in the playing area. May have minor scuffs on edges from decades of storage, or a small scuff, scratch or paper scuff on playing area.
It's near mint, not mint (which would be 'sealed' to me). There should be no audible distractions.
NM- (Near Mint minus): A scuff or two or light scratch or two on either or both sides that may be heard.
VG+: Scuffs & some minor scratches in the playing area. Some will most likely be heard.
VG: Many scuffs or scratches that will be heard but record should still play fine.

Record grading is subjective. I offer a 100% money back guarantee on  everything I sell.
