Description

Great copy of this ultra-rare Dutch folk/psych LP, released in 1979 on the small Universe label (cat. no. LS-15). I got the following information from the internet:

Farmers Union were around for only six months (in 1972) before breaking up but during that short time gathered a legendary status on the Dutch club circuit. They did not record until this re-union in 1979. This is a rarely seen 70's Dutch Folk Psych with Male / Female vocals. Highly Recommended LP with strong instrumentation including 6 and 12 String Guitar asw ell as Electric guitar, mandolin, tambourine and harmonica. The album has great covers of Tim Buckley's "Phantasmagoria in Two" as well as "Ragtime Millionaire" by the Insect Trust! They also do a nice version of "Children Of Darkness" with the remaining tracks all original. Highlight being the long track "Omie Wise" with strong acid guitar weaving over melancholy flowing female vocals. (hk)

Thanks, HK! The sleeve is in EX condition; just a small perforation hole in the upper right hand corner. Vinyl is EX, looks/sounds great and probably played only a handful times.
