Description
This is an auction for a rare LP by, Fairpot Convention, Fairport Convention.
This was released by Polydor Records in 1968 and has catalogue number 583035. This is there first release and only LP on Polydor after which they switched on to Island records, this is stereo.

Condition: The sleeve has lamination creases, buffing to the corners and bottom edge, a lamiantion bubble can be seen along the spine and there are a few discolour marks, some of which will clean of the laminated surface. Spine fine, complete and graded at VG. please check the pictures for clarification.
This comes with its original patent inner sleeve which has some creases and discolour marks but is otherwise fine, no edge splits.
Both labels are clean and look new, under closer examination some tiny spider spindle trails can be seen on each side. The centre hole is perfect on side B, side A does show a touch of wear.
The vinyl retains its brand new shine and looks immaculate. Under the closest of examinations a few tiny hairline scratches can be seen. I have test played this through both sides and it plays as good as it looks. I heard one quiet pop on track four of side one and other than the occasional very quiet crackle there is nothing to report. Quiet breaks and entries, the music itself plays strong and clear through both sides with no distortion, fading or dragging heard whatsoever. This plays with very little, if any, lessening in sound quality and plays at a comfortable near mint.
The vinyl for this is graded at a strict VG+, down-graded because it has been played slightly more than a few times and for the few feather scratches, be them non-audible, audio ceratinly near mint or better, the vinyl looks superb.
A very fine addition to any collection.
