Live at Club 7

Label: Sonet Country: Norway Prod Year: 1972 #SLP1418
Condition Gatefold Sleeve / Record 2xLP: VG++ / VG+
Category: Soul Jazz

Another grail record here needs no introduction, complete unique sound recorded live in Norway over some nights at the now defunct Club 7 nightclub! On many wantlists for the really heavy sound and the amazing groove ladden drums by Jimmy Hopps. Check out Do you Believe if you haven't heard it, but overall all killer no filler on this cosmic beauty...on many wantlists! Check discogs for tracklisting!

Laminated gatefold sleeve has some tiny spots of crease, small tears in the corners. Sticker on front and LP6 sticker on the back. Both vinyls appears to be shiny and new and not played BUT there are some visible marks on both LPs. Worst is on the A1 side "Do You Believe Track" see pictures.  that seems to come from some storage damage or something sharp has hit the grooves at some point. We have played and recorded the affected area making it audible with our ortofon concorde needle, you can hear som pops and clics about 2 min. of the track. Check mp3 audio recorded here. Also there are small traces of tiny marks on A2 and B2 and B3 but not very audible we checked. (White spots on the groove pictures are just dust and sellers DNA! Can be wiped off easily!) Overall very enjoyable copy! Don't sleep!

M- (NEAR MINT or MINT MINUS) The vinyl is virtually flawless, bright and shiny.
A very minor, barely visible scuff or two may be permitted, but no scratches.
The disc should play with no audible noise. The label is bright, clean and unmarked.

VG++(EXCELLENT or VERY GOOD ++) Disc plays near perfectly,
but may have minor paper scuffs that do not interfere with the sound quality.
There can possibly be a hairline scratch or two but nothing that is obvious or affects play.
Vinyl is bright and shiny; label is clean and unmarked.

VG+(VERY GOOD PLUS) Some visible surface wear,
very minor scratches and scuffs, but minimal impact on the sound quality.
Vinyl will still have good luster; labels may have minor imperfections (small labels or initials, etc.)
but otherwise clean.

VG(VERY GOOD) Vinyl will have noticeable scratches or scuffs that
cause minor surface noise, but do not overpower the music. There will be no skips.
Vinyl may appear somewhat dull and grayish. Labels may have small tears, tape marks,
larger writing, etc. but still easily legible. There may be wear or deformation of the spindle hole.

G(GOOD) Well-played, dull, grayish vinyl with deeper scratches and wear causing distracting
surface noise (hisses, pops, cracks and other nasties). The record will still play through without any skips.
Labels may be significantly defaced or damaged.
