Description
Excellent VG++ Mono pressing of Lou Donaldson, Blues Walk, Blue Note 1593. Solid, impressive repress ca. early 1960s of this hard to find LP on heavy vinyl featuring Deep Groove, “RVG” stamped and “9M” hand-etched into run-out grooves, Plastylite “Ear,” and label with Blue Note Records Inc, New York USA address on both labels.
Cover: VG-. Front cover is completely intact but is quite worn and faded with discoloration to gloss, wear to seams, and large seam split along spine. Back cover shows its age with some foxing and writing in pen from previous owners (one of which was famed DJ Del Shields), but otherwise is structurally sound.
LP: VG++. Heavy vinyl is just beautiful and plays strong and clear without skips jumps or clicks. Deep groove labels are bright and clean. There is a bit of residue between for Side 2 label and run-out groove, but it has no effect on play. Beautiful rich full-sounding Van Gelder production intact. Great daily use copy for your listening pleasure. See photos for details.
