Description

HORACE SILVER Quintet HORACE-SCOPE 1960  Blue Note 4042 Mono LP

This offer is for the 1960 Mono LP recording on Blue Note #4042, "Horace-Scope," with the Horace Silver Quintet..  It was recorded by Rudy Van Gelder.

With Silver on piano, the other personnel are Blue Mitchell on trumpet, Junior Cook on tenor sax, Gene Taylor on bass and Roy Brooks on drums.  The selections are:

Strollin'

Where You At?

Without You

Horace-Scope

Yeah!

Me and My Baby

Nica's Dream

The LP is in excellent condition.  There are a couple of visible light scuffs, but there are only about three seconds on side two where a slight click is heard.  Otherwise, the LP plays with a clear, rich, warm sound without surface noise.

The album cover is in very good plus condition, with no marks and no seam splits, and moderately bumped corners.  The LP is in the original Blue Note inner sleeve, which does have a long tear.
