So... you're totally into your software plug-ins and virtual instruments so you need stacks of assignable rotary controllers but you're also a bit of a keyboard whizz and feel that 4 octaves might not be quite enough. Well... check this silver beast out... it's got 16 fully assignable rotary controllers so you can tweak and freak to your hearts content... plus you've also got a fully assignable mod wheel and slider making an incredible 18 assignable controllers in total! Each of these controllers can be assigned to a different MIDI channel which means that multiple plug-ins can be controlled on separate channels. Powerful stuff! The individual data entry buttons on this monster controller mean that program / channel changes etc are made directly using buttons, not the keys, which means faster, more precise control for you guys.
