Continuing JAZZ auction series of original Classic Jazz, Bop, Cool Jazz plus select jazz vocal and pop vocal LPs and 10" albums -followed by some choice avant garde and outside jazz plus original issue Brazilian / Bossa Nova / Samba and Latin Jazz/Percussion artists as well as a few very rare Experimental/Electronic LPs.

Labels included here are Blue Note, Prestige, Roost, Clef, Nocturne, Discovery, Contemporary, Pacific Jazz, Verve, Atlantic, Folkways, Arhoolie, Odeon, Finnadar, ECM, WATT, BASF, Impulse, CTI, Capitol, RCA Victor and a few others. Most of these records are in VG+ to VG++ condition, with a few NM and a few VG ...many quite scarce.

~Vivid, bright cover has very minimal wear, but bad seams: Long ago taped over splits (spine is not split, but was taped anyway).

I laboriously and meticuluously worked to remove that old yellowed tape (I am 100% successful in most cases). But the tape had been on this cover so long that I could only get most of it off -some residue and partial remains of the old tape still present.

I then neatly and tightly closed the seams with clear, acid-free *Document Repair Tape -permanent, strong and ARCHIVAL Nearly invisible.

*about the DOCUMENT REPAIR TAPE: This specially formulated tape will never peel, flake, yellow or out-gas upon the cover. It is a professional repair that will preserve the edges of the cover through your lifetime and beyond. Applied in an even, single strip, across entire seam, very clean and neat.

VINYL: VG+
~Very few light scratches on still quite glossy vinyl. Plays extremely bright and clear throughout with some very soft occasional background noise. Deep Groove "Trumpeter" CLEF labels are superb, with just a bit of wear, right at spindle hole. No spindle trails on either label.

GREAT portraiture of Billie by David Stone Martin on cover.

This cover would frame beautifully, with the taped edges falling beneath frame lip. It still looks pretty good, just as it is now -so much better than before I worked on these seams.

This 10" LP is kept in a protective, clear poly outer-sleeve.
(Disc inside inner sleeve, placed behind cover)
