Description
For sale is Let There Be...Eve Ruff Riders' First Lady, originally released in 1999 as a double album set by Ruff Riders Records, in association with Interscope Records. In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks is etched "Masterdisk TD", indicating that this record was mastered by Tony Dawsey at Masterdisk, N.Y.C. This is a hallmark of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound quality. I bought this record new, professionally cleaned them on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put the records into two MFSL archival inner sleeves. This preserves the integrity of the vinyl and any insert(s) or original inner sleeve(s) that may have come with the release. The insert is Near Mint. The vinyl is visually graded as Near Mint. The cover is graded as Excellent because of corner blunts and stress cracks along the spine and the top and bottom seam. The spine has color loss at the corners and in a few spots in the middle from those blunts and stress cracks. It's been played only on Audiophile equipment since I bought it and still has a lot of life yet. This original first edition has become very rare and you would be hard pressed to find one in this condition. This would make a great addition to a anyone's collection. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative.
