Up for bid is a rare mono LP, "Outward Bound" by Eric Dolphy Quintet, featuring Freddie Hubbard. This was released by New Jazz (NJLP 8236) in 1960. Here is some extra info about this LP:

Recorded in Englewood Cliffs, NJ; April 1, 1960LP is a solid VG+, with light scuffs and several small light scratches on either side - plays with some surface noise with no skips. Surface noise may be reduced with a professional clean. Matrix info is as follows: stamped RVG followed by etched 4-8-60 ABM NJLP - 8236-A / stamped RVG followed by etched 4-8-60 ABM NJLP - 8236 B. Interiors labels are purple with silver lettering. Interior labels are clean with a deep groove on either side, with the Bergenfield address at the bottom of the label on each side. Jacket is VG+, with no seam splits. All corners show wear, particularly at the top of the spine and on the front bottom right corner (see pictures). There is a small crease in the front bottom left corner. Front of the jacket retains a nice gloss and bright coloring. Back of the jacket is over all very clean (however there are a couple of tiny discolored spots - see pictures). The Bergenfield address appears at the bottom of the back of the jacket. Does not include original inner sleeve, LP is housed in a plain white inner sleeve. Don't miss this rare gem!
