  • Notes:  This compilation brings together two of Eric Dolphy's most rewarding sessions from 1963 which were originally released on two LPs: Conversations and Iron Man. These dates are among Dolphy's finest with the challenging material interpreted by a constantly shifting personnel: vibraphonist Bobby Hutcherson, trumpeter Woody Shaw, Clifford Jordan on soprano, altoist Sonny Simmons, Prince Lasha on flute and bassist Richard Davis.
