Description

This is a mega rare 1978 test pressing of Clapton's debute album, repressed for RSO Records at the Columbia Records pressing plant in Santa Maria, California.

Matrix- Runout: RS-3008 AS CS 1A 1S/RS-3008 BS CS 1B 1S1

The vinyl has some visible scratches, but plays through without skipping and only a few pops on side two. The record was sleeved in a plastic lined paper sleeve for all these years so it is in very nice condition and well-kept. The generic white jacket shows some wear and tears. It has some of the song titles written on it and the former owner's name on the other side of the jacket. He was an intern at an east coast rock station in 1978 when he was in high school.

Test pressings are extremely rare, especially from musicians of this level. Test pressings from a large label such as Columbia are even more rare. Very few were pressed and usually do not change hands.

The buyer of this record will be responsible for paying any duties their country may attach to the record when it arrives.

The record will be shipped out fully insured. I will cover the cost of the shipping and insurance if buyer is from the United States. If the winner is out of the country, that person must pay for shipping and insurance ( around $24 first class package international).
