Description

This limited edition from Earache Records is on Splatter vinyl so judging the vinyl visually is quite difficult. When play tested, no major issues were noted other than some low crackle in the quieter spots, though with Entombed sound it is sometimes difficult to tell what is intended or not.

Keeping in line with the rest of my vinyl from this era I would suggest this isn't for the purist mint brigade.

Also included is a Left Hand Path flag (approx 5ft x 3ft). The flag has only been taken out of the wrapper to take the photo and has never been used.

The outer sleeve is in Very Good condition with some small issues which can be seen in the pictures, namely a tiny tear to the top rear, a small tear on the top seam and a tiny. crease to the left rear. The limited edition sticker to the front has slight discolour.

The inner sleeve is a generic white sleeve but the insert is in Good plus condition with only minimal signs of handling. I only rated it as Good plus as there really is nothing interesting about it, not because there is anything wrong with it.

The vinyl itself as previously mentioned is very hard to judge visually so could only judge how it plays and it played fine to me, give or take some low crackle so I have put it in the Very Good (VG) category.

Overall given its age and the amount of use it has had over the 35 years, like my other vinyls of the same age, I wouldn't be comfortable rating it any higher than Very Good, so mint collectors it isn't for you.

However if it is a relatively rare edition of a classic Entombed album that has been used and still performs well at a reasonable price (when compared to others listed) this could be for you. Plus a rather big flag.

VINYL RECORD GRADING

VERY GOOD (VG) - A vinyl record that has some signs of wear and may have some defects but still plays well.

PLEASE NOTE - I don't rate any of my vinyl above Very Good as they have all been used over the last 35 years.

All my vinyl are from my collection I am slowly selling. All get play tested at least three times, once before listing once when sold and once before despatch.
