Ensemble Muntu on Muntu 1001

 

This is the original pressing of Ensemble Muntu “First Feeding” on Muntu 1001.  The playing surface appears to be in new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once.  Similarly, the cover is immaculate throughout – bright and clean – with just a ¼” split on the bottom seam, at the opening.  Personnel include Jemeel Moondoc, Arthur Williams, Mark Hennen, William Parker, and Rashid Bakr
