Emidisc Acetate - Skiing In The Snow, The Invitations - Rare Promo Northern Soul Single 7' Record

A rare emidisc acetate copy of the 1966 single Skiing In The Snow by The Invitations. With a version of Girl Across The Street on the B side. Presumably produced as a promotional copy for a DJ. All of my records are sent using the best quality packaging, and will come complete with a brand new clear protective sleeve.

SLEEVE CONDITION: Plain generic sleeve.
RECORD CONDITION: VG. It looks like its been well played. Side A (Skiing in the snow) plays through well with the occasional crackle and a few minor clicks. Side B (Girl Across The Street) is quite crackly throughout. Both labels have a little bit of writing on them as shown. The pictures do not due it justice. Records can sometimes be very hard to photograph!

All the soul singles we have on at the moment came from a collector who was a regular on the UK Northern Soul scene. Many of them were bought at the gigs in Manchester, Wigan & Blackpool in the 1970s. There is some rare vinyl here including promos and acetates, please see our other auctions. We discount postage heavily for multiple record purchases (see below).

There may be some white light reflections on the vinyl in the photographs, these are not on the actual vinyl.

Records will be properly packed using Defenda MusicMax boxes and thick card stiffeners to help guarantee that they reach you without damage.

I use the Goldmine record grading system.

Mint - The record is unplayed and still sealed (I do not use this particular grading on any record which is not still sealed!).
Near Mint - The record has probably only been played a couple of times (if at all) and may have a couple of very light marks which do not affect the playing quality at all.
Very Good+/Excellent - The record may have slight wear but should still have good sound quality. It may have some light scratches or light marks but no heavy scratches.
Very Good - The record has obviously been played several times and has either scratches or marks but should still play fine (possibly with some crackle).
Good - The record has been well played and has several scratches, it should still play but probably has lots of noise or even jumps or sticks.
Poor - Tatty and really only suitable as a gap filler.

• Unfortunately, collection is not possible for any of our items unless stated in the listing. For security reasons we do not store items at our mailing address and we obviously do not wish to give out our storage address for the same reason. We apologize if this causes any inconvenience.

• If the item is damaged in transit, you must sign the carriers note as damaged. We cannot pursue a claim if you do not do this. Please look out for mishandling - crushed boxes, flattened corners, etc.
