You are bidding on a 100% Genuine and Authentic item. This is NOT one of the modern day reproduction vinyl painted discs sold to fans. This item was presented to GREG LAKE by Island Records (ELP's record company) to celebrate the sale of 100,000 copies of Trilogy. This is stated on the large brass engraved plaque inside the frame. This item was purchased from Sotheby's London Rock and Pop Auction 2nd April 1997 and still has the original Sotheby's stickers in several places on the back of the frame showing date and lot number at time of sale. The frame is wooden and gold coloured paint and glass fronted and cardboard back. The gold coloured disc is actually metal NOT vinyl !!!!!!
