Up for auction is Elvis Presley s rarest RCA Victor 7 EP set. (Only One original 45 rpm included) For those who don t know the history on this gem here is a little summary. 7x7 cardboard triple gatefold cover contains two of the three original  records. 45 rpm set on the RCA Victor label. In 1956, RCA marketed two different models of an Elvis Presley Victrola record player. Buyers of the $32.95 model were given the double EP SPD-22 while the bonus for buyers of the higher priced $47.95 model were given this even more rare and desirable EP SPD-23 Other words this cover and the discs were only given away when you bought the highest end victrola player for what was then a lot of money. Because only a handful of people could afford the high end victrola, it in time, made this one of the rarest Elvis records/cover in exsistence on any label from any country. Please see the images that I have provided. Cover-By Goldmines grading standards it is VG+. Please note that these pictures do not do much justice for this cover. Unfortunately these are the best i could do. Overall one of the nicest copies out there. The spine is 100% intact. one small splits about 1 inch . There are a couple very very small seam splits. (see pic) One on the bottom middle (about a quarter inch and, and one on the top of each of thr three jackets.  Again see the pics.  The inside front has some lines drawn with pen on the titles, and a hand written words (done by a child) on the bottom of the song titles.  the back is clear and fairly clean.  the Front Picture is clear with no marks on it.   This is the Rarest  EP that Elvis ever put out.  They have sold at auction between 3,000 and 5,000 "complete".  As Stated I only have one  of the three original 45rpm records.  The other is the same songs but not marked SPD-23, But EPA940. - is pretty good shape (they do play).  Included are the songs: (on SPD-23) "I'm Gonna sit right down and cry", I'll never let you go", "Tutti Frutti",  "Tryin to get to you". On(EP940)- " Don't be Cruel", "I want you, I need you, I love you", "Hound Dog"," My Baby left me".  I have three other 45 rpm that I'm going to Throw in....47-6381 "I don't care if the sun don't shine"-"Good Rockin Tonight"...  47-7410."One Night", I got Stung",  47-6420, "Heartbreak Hotel", "I was the one".  The cover alone is very rare and you can find the records and convert this to a more valuable collection.
