Description
ORIGINAL ISSUE Sun Records, Memphis, Tennessee. # 223, 45 RPM format. This was one of five records made by Elvis Presley for Sun Records in 1954 and 1955. Recorded on July 11, 1955 and released (on Sun Records) on August 20, 1955. "I Forgot to Remember to Forget" backed by "Mystery Train". No push marks which is appropriate because this is the only one of the five Elvis Sun Records not to have push marks. The following trail-off (wax) markings appear on this record: I Forgot to Remember to Forget: "45-U-157-x", followed closely by "20" (written in small numbers), followed about 90 degrees later by "Delta sign 5499" (Delta sign is a triangle) "Mystery Train": "45-U-156-x", followed closely by "20" (written in small numbers), followed about 90 degrees later by "Delta sign 5498" (Delta sign is a triangle) No sleeve, but will be packed very carefully. Great rare collectible record. (Keywords: rockabilly, rock, country, blues, Elvis, vinyl). NO RESERVE! Please contact me for any questions.
