Elvis Speedway With Photo LSP-3989 Shrink

You are bidding on the Elvis Presley LP, Speedway. This is RCA LSP-3989.

This has the shrink still intact all the way except on the opened edge so the jacket is near mint. It also has the orignal sticker still on the outside of the shrink that promotes the full color photo within. The photo is included with this, see the picture here, it's also near mint. The vinyl is nice and shiny, it does have several shallow scuffs on each side, I am sure it won't skip because there are no deep scratches, you may be able to hear some audible noise from the light scuffs when playing this. Overall it's very nice.

This is one of several hundred collectible records I’m selling from a private collection. Please see my other auctions for similar items. This is an estate item so I have no personal knowledge about when it was purchased or any other detailed information. I am not an expert regarding 45RPM or LP records, and I will not attempt to play these records so I am describing it as best I can.  If I find scuffs and/or scratches on a record I'll say so, I'll use plain English to describe everything. Feel free to contact me with more questions. I can’t absolutely guarantee that it won’t have a scratch or skip because I am not playing these records. I will describe the sleeves the same way, by just being perfectly honest. We are selling hundreds of albums so I'm not cleaning these records, you should expect to clean it when it arrives.

For payment I accept PayPal, bank checks, money orders, or personal checks. Item will be shipped when payment clears. Payment must be provided within 5 days of end of auction and if you do not use PayPal please contact me within 24 hours of end of auction so I’ll be aware of payment method you have chosen. If you are unwilling or unable to send payment within 5 days of end of the auction, DO NOT BID.

Once your item is shipped I have no control over the postal service. I will obtain a stamped, dated receipt so that I can provide conclusive verification to the buyer, that the item was shipped. In the unlikely and very rare event that the item does not arrive, I will be happy to provide you with a copy of the receipt, I will not provide a refund when I've verified that the item has been sent. If you decide not to purchase insurance and the item is damaged or lost, it is a loss incurred due to your decision. I will not require buyers to purchase insurance but I cannot provide refunds for those who have chosen not to do so. Of the hundreds of albums we have sold, not one has been damaged and we've had only 1 claim of a lost item which was resolved to everyone's satisfaction. We certainly don't want anybody to incur a loss but please understand again, that once we send the item we no longer maintain any control.

Shipping is via U.S. Postal Service, Media Mail in the U.S. and the cost for shipping, packaging, and handling is $4.00. For multiple items won in the U.S. I will ship up to 3 LPs for the same price then add $1 for each additional album in the U.S. If you would like Priority Mail for shipping within the U.S. the cost is $5.65 and you'll need to let me know when you pay by dropping me an email via Ebay.

For international bidders, the cost to ship this item is $14.00. For combined shipments I must use International Priority Mail when the weight exceeds 4 pounds. The rates are as follows: 2 albums...$17.00. 3 albums...$24.00. 4 albums...$30.00. 5 albums...$36.00. 6 albums...$40.00. 7 albums...$42.00. 8 albums...$46.00.  9 albums...$49.20. 10 albums...$52.50. If you win or plan to bid on more than 10 albums or 10 pounds, ask me and I'll quote shipping costs. I consider the international shipping costs to be outrageous but we're stuck with these rates.   

For U.S shipments, insurance is $1.35 up to $50; $2.30 from $50.01 to $100; $3.35 from $100.01 to $200; $4.40 from $200.01 to $300; $5.45 from $300.01 up to $400, and $6.50 from $400.01 up to $500.  If you are in another country and you desire insurance, email me and I'll determine the cost. In the event an insurance claim is necessary I will provide the insurance receipt to you and you will need to handle the claim with your local post office.

If you are unhappy with the merchandise for a legitimate reason I will be happy to accept a return. You must notify me and send it back within 7 days of receiving item. Once I receive the product in the same condition as it was sent to you, I will refund your cost of the product plus shipping. I will make every attempt to be fair and I ask and expect you to do the same. 

I recieved a question about this record today and while inspecting it again I found a flaw that I had missed before. When looking at the front of the jacket, at the lower/right, very close to the corner on the bottom, there is an opening in the edge. It's very close to the corner but it's not opened at the edge. There is only about 1/4 of an inch that is close from the corner then there is a hole that is at the most, a half inch but you can see daylight through it. It is much easier to see when I place my finger through the edge and open the cover a bit. And the edge and spine are not frayed or rought anywhere near it, but it's there and it definately needs to be disclosed. I have inspected the rest of the edge carefully and the edges and spine are virtually perfect other than this small spot.
