Description
Elvis Presley,Rock 'N' Roll,LP, Catalogue Number: (CLP 1093), Cover Details: Fully laminated flipback sleeve with a Company inner sleeve.
Cover Condition: very good condition with some creasing or marks as seen in the pictures or noted.
Record Condition: Has been played a fair amount and clearly shows surface marks which are likely to affect play in some way with background noise in most of the quiet parts & possibly the odd click but should not jump or skip.
Any Other Details: Original first pressing, on the HMV record label. Matrix numbers 2XAV 255-1N & 2XAV 256-1N. This record has been listened to and on our record player it played without any jumps, sticks or clicks. There were light back ground crackles throughout and some light pops. Track three has noticeable crackles but no pops or clicks, track five is the same, they both have a feelable mark across them but because of the deep pressed grooves they don't affect play back much. None of the tracks have been spoilt with excessive noise. The front of the sleeve has laminate missing and lifted from the opening and top edges. There are several small creases at the opening edge which is a bit curled up. There are no large creases. The spine has pinched ends, the print is legible there is some wear to the bottom and a tiny surface tear just underneath the title but nothing substantial. The back has a fair bit of laminate missing and some which is lifted. It is clean with only light marks where the laminate has been missing for a while. There are no large creases. The bottom edge has a 1cm split at the opening. complete with its original polylined inner sleeve which has a few creases but no splits, this is still a solid sleeve and one of the best I've seen for a while as most tend to be very torn/creased/missing.
