Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the MEGA RARE Compact 33 1961 single Surrender / Lonely Man released in the USA.
The record itself (37-7850) is visually ONLY in VERY GOOD- condition and does have quite a few visible marks/scratches, but nothing which can be felt!
I have play tested this through on both sides and both sides play through better than the visual condition and play through with NO SKIPS or JUMPS. It plays more like a VG/VG+
The labels have some rubbing/ringwear , however on the plus side have NO WRITING!(see photos).
The picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2012 as $500 in the condition it is in now (which i would say is in VERY GOOD ) for the sleeve alone!!!
This sleeve is 56 years old and has NO RIPS, TEARS or WRITING!!!
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $1000(£680 approx) . I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £700.
I will start this at WAY UNDER THAT!!!!!!!!
PLEASE REMEMBER THE OVERALL CONDITION OF THIS EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND RARITY IF / WHEN PLACING A BID as this will serve as an affordable collection filler until that mint £1350+ copy comes along!!!
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
