Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1965 EP release of ELVIS PRESLEY in Tickle Me released in the USA.
The record itself (EPA-4383 dog on top)is ONLY in VERY GOOD / VERY GOOD+ condition with quite a few visible scratches/ marks (none too deep) but retains some of it's natural sheen.
The centre labels have NO WRITING (see photos) .
The THICK CARDBOARD picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2008 as $50 in the condition it is in now(which i would say is VG+ )for the sleeve alone!!!
This sleeve is over 46 years old and is in reasonable condition for the age.
The only things that stop this from grading even higher is a name written on the front and a seam split at the bottom which has been taped in a couple of places(see photos)
That said This is a really affordable collection filler until that MINT £65+ copy comes along.
This is the 1st of the 4 sleeves issued for this release and advertizes "Coming Soon" Special Elvis Anniversary LP Album.
THIS IS QUITE A HARD SLEEVE TO FIND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $65(£42 approx) .I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £45.
PLEASE REMEMBER OVERALL CONDITION IF/WHEN PLACING A BID!
THIS SERVES A GREAT AFFORDABLE COLLECTION FILLER UNTIL THAT MINT £65+ record and Sleeve come along!!!!!!
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
