Original 78 RPM record. has a edge crack repaired on the record. likely occurred early in it’s life since record and labels are in excellent shape. It has been glued. Once you pass the repair, the record plays fine. It is a shame, because as stated, the labels are very nice and so is the record. ideal for display or frame! It was shipped and owned by famous Disc Jockey Alan Freed. He was infamous in the Payola Scandal which destroyed his career, however, his contribution to “rock and roll,” a phrase he is said to have created, has been recognized with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. shipping is $24.99. A COPY of an original envelope addressed to Alan, that came along it with other records from his collection, is included for provenance.
