Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1961 MEGA RARE COMPACT 33 issued single Surrender / Lonely Man released in the USA.
The record itself (37-7850 with a different prefix of 37 rather thn the standard release version of 47) is in EXCELLENT- condition and retains some of it's natural sheen.
THIS ONLY THE 2ND COPY OF THIS I HAVE SOLD IN 20+ YEARS AND DOES NOT COME UP THAT OFTEN (especially at this starting price!!!)
The labels are quite bright and have NO WRITING! (see photos)
In this condition this books at between $800-850 ( approx £660)
I WILL START THIS AT WAY UNDER THAT TO GIVE EVERYONE A FAIR CHANCE TO BID!!!
This comes with the Generic Compact 33 sleeve , which has wear and tear but NO WRITING ( picture sleeves exist for this when you can find them and cost around the same as the record)
The only thing that stops this from grading higher is some ringwear/scuff marks/creases. (see photos)
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $825 (£660 approx)
I dont have a current price guide but i would say at least £675.
I will start this at UNDER HALF OF THAT!
This would serve as an affordable collection filler until that MINT $1000+ copy comes along!
