This auction is for a lot of 8 x Elvis Presley 78 rpm records - some Sun Records, some RCA Victor. Included in this lot are:
1. Sun Records - Mystery Train/I Forgot to Remember to Forget 2. Sun Records - Good Rockin' Tonight/I Don't Care if the Sun Don't Shine 3. RCA Victor - Hound Dog/Don't Be Cruel 4. RCA Victor - Heartbreak Hotel/I Was the One 5. RCA Victor - Love Me Tender/Anyway You Want Me 6. RCA Victor - Money Honey/One Sided Love Affair 7. RCA Victor - I Want You I Need You I Love You/My Baby Left Me 8. RCA Victor - Shake Rattle and Roll/Lawdy Miss Clawdy
The numbers in the trail off of the Sun records seem to be etched rather than stamped. On Mystery Train it seems to be: SUN U-156 and on the reverse side (I forgot to remember etc) SUN U-157. It looks like there could be a number 20 etched in about half an inch away from each of those identifiers as well. The "U" could also be a 4, but it looks more like a U.
On Good Rockin Tonight I can't see the "Sun" and it appears to be U-131 with a 72 etched in after that. On the other side (I don't care if the sun...) appears to be J-150-2 with a 72 etched in about half an inch away. Again, the "U" could be a 4, but I think it is a "U".
