As I continue to auction my 35-year-plus collection of Elvis Presley records, you now have the opportunity to bid on this VG+ copy of this earliest "ROUSTABOUT" (LPM-2999) album. This MONO record was released in October of 1964 on the RCA Victor label and has the "Silver Top" logo. Just one month later, RCA Victor began pressing these with the new "White Top" logos! This made these "Silver Tops" an automatic rarity, with the earliest buyers being the lucky ones. Of course, they were oblivious to that fact at the time! The "White Top" logo LP's state "Monaural" at the base of the labels as opposed to the "Silver Tops", which state "MONO" (see photos). This record is clean and glossy, though there are several light, superficial scratches that should not hinder the listening enjoyment. The scarce labels are quite clean, but there are some spindle marks. The Matrix Numbers are (Side 1): RPRM 5276--3S and (Side 2): RPRM 5277-12S. The cover grades EXCELLENT, with no seam splits, tape, writing, grafitti, stickers or staple holes. There is some spotted edge and corner wear. There is very light ring wear. This very scarce record would make for a fine trophy for the serious collector of  Elvis Presley records and/or memorabilia. This album will come with its original "ELVIS" Inner Sleeve from 1964, depicting Elvis' full record catalog. This record will be shipped with the record separated from the cover to prevent seam splits from the record sliding around during transit.

Please note: I ship all records in cardboard record mailers and not those flimsy bubblewrap envelopes that offer no real protection against breakage.
