Description
I am putting up for auction many PROMO RECORDS from my vinyl collection that may be of interest to collectors.
As you may know, PROMOTIONAL RECORDS were issued in very limited quantities and only made available to the DJs at the Radio Stations for on-air play. They were not made available to the general public. This makes them VERY sought after due to their rarity and limited quantities.
In this auction is a RARE Elvis Presley Promo Record:
· “HOW GREAT THOU ART” b/w “HIS HAND IN MINE” by Elvis Presley
· This is a PROMOTIONAL RECORD.
· This is RCA Records 74 - 0130.
· It was released in 1969.
· This is the PROMO PRESSING released to promote the “His Hand in Mine” LP per printing on the labels.
· The yellow promotional labels have “NOT FOR SALE” printed on them.
· The VINYL is STRONG VG to VG+. However, the grading is affected by a “feelable” mark on the vinyl at the end of “His Hand In Mine”. (Please check images.) Most likely there will be ticking and/or skipping at the end of the song. There are also some very light surface hairlines/scuffs. The Yellow Promo Labels have very light wear.
· Still, it’s a hard-to-find Elvis Promo record.
Elvis Presley Promo Records are becoming tough to find. Here is your opportunity to add this one by “The King” to your vinyl collection.
FYI, I use Goldmine Grading Standards (G for Good, VG for Very Good, VG+ for Very Good Plus, NM for Near Mint, M for Mint) to VISUALLY GRADE the LPs I auction, so please know the descriptions of these grades before bidding.
