ELVIS PRESLEY - PROMISED LAND (APD1-0873) - SCARCE "QUADRADISC" ISSUE FROM 1977!
RECORD: VG with beautiful NM labels. Yes, this is the scarcer Black label, "Dog Near Top", 1977 issue! These were pressed in far less numbers than the original Orange Label copies! Although there are numerous superficial scuffs & scratches, the record plays all the way through without any skips or repeats! There are some audible "ticks" in some areas, most noticeably on "It's Midnight". I played this record in its entirety and as a whole, sounds great! This is one of those records that play better than it looks.
COVER: VG+ with about a 4-inch upper seam break (the record apparently slid out when the album was turned upside-down), some light corner wear and very light ring wear. Normally, this particular cover is plagued with heavy ring wear. Definitely no writing, tape, stickers or staple holes.

Your record will be packaged with the vinyl/inner sleeve separated from the cover, then placed together in an archival polyvinyl sleeve, sandwiched between a couple sheets of cardboard filler pads within the mailer. Some sellers actually believe that USPS flat boxes or those flimsy bubble/padded envelopes will ensure safe delivery and protect a record from damage while traveling across the globe. Imagine THAT!
