Description
Original 1955 Sun Records 78 RPM 10" record. "Mystery Train" backed with "I Forgot To Remember To Forget". Excellent condition! It has a couple of minor scuffs, but no serious scratches or chips. Plays nicely and sounds good, with no pops, skips, etc. There are a couple of very small "dimples" on the "I forgot to remember" side(Pictured in the last photo), but they are in the vinyl, under the grooves, and it plays fine. The labels are in mint condition, and it doesn't look like this was played very many times. According to the 78 rpm record grading system, this would be graded "E"-"Some minor groove wear and/or minor scuffs or scratches. An excellent copy"
Comes with vintage RCA paper sleeve that appears to be period correct. Sun Records sold Elvis and his catalog to RCA right after this was released, so this very well could be the original sleeve.
A very nice example of a historic recording!
The record will be packed between two pieces of either Masonite or thin plywood with foam rubber, to insure that it doesn't get damaged in shipment.
