Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1956 release of Love Me Tender / Anyway You Want Me released in the USA.
The record itself (47-6643 ) is in EXCELLENT condition and retains a lot of it's natural sheen.(see photos)
THIS REALLY IS A BEAUTY!!!!
The labels have NO WRITING but has a sticker on one side (see photos)
This is the RARER issue WITH THE HORIZONTAL LINE. (you could say this is this U.S equivilant of HMV GOLD WRITING UK issue!)
The picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2016 as $75 in the condition it is in now (which i would say is EXCELLENT- ) for the sleeve alone!!!
THIS IS 1 OF THE 4 SLEEVES ISSUED!!
This sleeve is 64 years old and there are only a few signs of ageing.
There are NO SPLITS , RIPS, TEARS or WRITING(see photos)
The only thing that stops this from grading even higher is some creases/ ringwear and glue seam marks ( Very common with this sleeve due to the paper used)
The sleeve grades as EXCELLENT-
Overall this was valued at about $100 (£85+) back in 2016, so i guess it must be around £88+ now.
I will start this at way under HALF of that!!
THIS IS MY LAST AND PROBABLY THE BEST COPY OF THE GREEN SLEEVE I HAVE AND DON'T ANTICIPATE GETTING ANOTHER ANYTIME SOON!
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might just get a genuine bargain.
