Description
This is an auction for an ORIGINAL copy of the 1968 single Let Yourself Go / Your Time Hasn't Come Yet Baby released in the USA.
The record itself (47-9547 )is in EXCELLENT- / VERY GOOD+ condition.
There are a few visible marks/scratches(nothing too deep or drastic)
The labels have NO WRITING!(see photos)
The picture sleeve is much sought after and was listed in a U.S guide book back in 2012 as $45 in the condition it is in now(which i would say again is in VERY GOOD+ ) for the sleeve alone.
This sleeve is 49 years old and has NO SPLITS, RIPS, TEARS or WRITING!.
The things that stop this from grading higher is some ringwear/creases/scuff marks.(see photos)
This also has the added charm of having the Original Shop price sticker/seal.
There is also a smudged shop price stamp on one side.(see photos)
This is the 1st of the 2 sleeves issued for this release and advertizes "Coming Soon " Speedway " (rather than the later Ask For)
The record is also stored in a separate paper sleeve to prevent anymore wear to this sleeve!!
Overall 2 years ago this was valued at $70(£50 approx) .I dont have a current price guide but i would say around £52.
With a LOW START and NO RESERVE you might be able to grab yourself a bargain!!!
