Hello. Up for your consideration is one of the RAREST of all the ELVIS PRESLEY albums:
Elvis Presley, King Creole, ORIGINAL PHOTO OF ELVIS IN HIS ARMY UNIFORM, 1958,LMP-1884, Mono. Hollywood Pressing, LPM-1884.
ERROR ON SIDE 1, Track 5--States C. Demtruis - F. Wise. Demetruis is spelled wrong...should be Demtrius. And this song credits F. Wise as writing the song, but he DID NOT.
The sleeve is the original Elvis sleeve that came out in 1958. Please view photos for condition of album, sleeve and cover--way better than VG+, perhaps even NM condition! This album will come in a clear plastic cover.
Now for the RARE part of this sale---the ELVIS ARMY photo! It is in NEAR MINT condition! It is approximately 8" x 10" and is SIGNED by Elvis. On the bottom right corner it says "Best Wishes Elvis Presley." At the bottom going across the photo it states "ELVIS PRESLEY" on the left corner and on the right "Exclusive RCA Victor Recording Artist." This photo was only included with the original release of the album (which came out in August of 1958)! To have this original 8" x 10" photo in such great condition has got to be VERY RARE as it is over 60 years old! Could be one of the last chances to OWN this RARITY!
For the BONUS (and probably the one time you'll every see this for sale), I will be including the January 29, 1978 PARADE Magazine (this one is from the Fort Lauderdale News and Sun-Sentinel) which has Elvis and his mother from 1955 on the cover!! It has a great article on Elvis with "Exclusive Pictures" of ELVIS in his PRIME!! A great addition to your collection!!
